I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It is very overpriced for the standard of food and service - actually, it couldn't really be cheap enough for me to want to eat here again. The breads were slightly stale, the salads limp and the pastas a soggy, oily mess. Even the desserts were rubbish - I didn't realise it was possible to make a disappointing tiramisu. And the service was awful. Sure, the host was chatty and friendly, but I'd rather that our meals were served together, and that we didn't have to ask half a dozen times for the simplest things.

Stayed in the Southside Guest House for two days and discovered your Restaurant, what a joy to eat the most amazing food cooked with love and care, the staff were the most kindly people we have met in a long time, my only regret we could stay longer because we would have eaten there every night, if we are in Edinburgh again we will look no further for a Restaurant it will be yours we will visit again.
