Langtry's Restaurant - London
Langtry’s Restaurant has recently opened its doors in the heart of Knightsbridge and offers British dishes with unique and inventive flavour combinations. Langtry’s has a wonderful history, having once formed part of the home of the famous actress, Lillie Langtry, who lived at the property from 1892 until 1897. The décor has been subtly modernised to enhance the historic grandeur of this elegant and sophisticated dining room. Featuring high sculptured ceilings, a magnificent Carrera marble Louis XIV fireplace, oversize mirrors and an original glass chandelier, Langtry’s has romantic charm. Our new menu for 2009 includes starters such as Langtrys cured beef brisket, caperberry pinenut salad. Terrine of ham hock & scallions, black mustard & pickled cauliflower. The main courses feature dishes such as Poached & roasted supreme of corn-fed chicken, marjoram potatoes, cauliflower purée & fresh English pea salad, Pan fried sea bream, potato’s mille feuille, confit tomato, sweet lemon basil & coriander dressing. At dinner service, an appetiser is offered with the compliments of the chef. |
