Located on the main street in Harpenden, our Slug and Lettuce is the perfect venue for enjoying coffee over breakfast, a refreshing mineral water with lunch or a delicious glass of wine alongside dinner. Harpenden is a beautiful town with loads of character, some great one-off shops and is also handy for all major road routes and transport links - not forgetting the great Whipsnade Zoo!

We’re open for breakfast from 9am during the week which makes us extremely popular for that coffee and pastry ‘hit’ just before work. Our menu offers a variety of breakfasts served until 12pm, plus fantastic lunches and dinners served right through until 10pm. From light bites to hearty dishes, we have it all. We’re also a popular choice for families with children whom we warmly welcome through to 6pm daily.
