I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday night it was not really busy they had a 20 or so diners
decor was good and the waiting staff had a friendly smile and where very pleasant
I was seated promptly and the table I was seated was bigger than normal (solid mahogany) and of a high quality.
The restaurant had a enormous bar (over 1000 different types of liquor)
I ordered my meal
it arrived quickly and was of a good quality
a very enjoyable experience
definitely go back again restaurant.

Stayed in the Southside Guest House for two days and discovered your Restaurant, what a joy to eat the most amazing food cooked with love and care, the staff were the most kindly people we have met in a long time, my only regret we could stay longer because we would have eaten there every night, if we are in Edinburgh again we will look no further for a Restaurant it will be yours we will visit again.
Many warm thanks Marc & Patricia from Liverpool

We ate at this restaurant last night and I have to say the food was awful!!! The tandoori chicken was stale as was the keema nan bread and the beer was warm. We ordered two popadoms as a starter while we waited for a main meal to which i was disgusted at the end to find we had been charged £2.50 for the sauce which costs pennies to make. Hence to say that we will not be returning!!!!

I would absolutely recommend Ken Ma to anybody around the Garstang area, Preston or even further. They have decent parking facilities just outside and view from the restaurant looks over the River Wyre and the beautiful countryside. The interior is very comfortable and appealing with a good sized bar. The service is good and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely suggest booking a table as they are often very busy; especially around holiday periods.

Great food and friendly service. Reasonably priced, but food that exceeds anywhere in the area - hence their great reputation.
Don't miss out!

Restaurant 55 – Elgin

I dined at Restaurant 55 as part of a celebratory dinner party and we were very disappointed with the overall standard of cooking and presentation.
We have also been informed by the proprietor that much produce is obtained from Bookers cash & carry.
To start proceedings, I had roasted sweet potato soup with an accompanying chive cream cheese that had a lingering out of date staleness and tang, the taste as a whole was quite insipid with a rather repulsive sweetness, fooling the senses into suggesting a savoury blancmange.
As a smoked salmon aficionado my wife succumbed to a smoked salmon salad, which had a cheap vacuum packet taste and quality about it, certainly not one of the finer smoked salmons easily available in this part of the world.
None of our party had the intermediate frozen water, which was charged at a scooping £1.55 supplement.
Disappointment continued throughout the main courses with mix and unmatched flavours including an overcooked rice pudding textured risotto and I am afraid Parma ham does not match Thai red curry sauce confirming our suspicions that the chef is not eating what he's cooking.
For dessert some of us opted for the sticky toffee pudding that can only be described as containing un-chewable pieces of dehydrated something served with custard that was obviously overcooked and on the verge of parting its ways.
Once again, none of us chose the cheese as the board was weighed down heavily with a £1.55 supplement, nor did we achieve a satisfactory ending to the meal as the coffee was charged at an extra £2.55 supplement.
Although the word "organic" appears throughout the menu excessively, it is clearly apparent that much of the produce is very un-seasonal and definitely not sourced locally.
Unfortunately, we left feeling that the poor standard of food coupled with the many menu items containing additional costs in the form of supplementals topped with a rather extortionate service charge was not value for money compared to other superior eateries in the area and we would certainly not revisit or recommend this Restaurant.

I have to say that out of all the restaurants that I have visited in England, this is a very special one. Service, food and ambiance was excellent. It is a credit to the people who own this place. Even the decor was great.
When in Windermere this is a must to visit
